Appearance #
Kau is exactly the same in appearance to Ka. She also has a silver tiara called a “plinket” that has a blue jewel at the crest of the forehead. The exact abilities of the Plinket are unknown, but it has been shown to be able to read minds and move objects remotely. Kau also wears a cloak that has variable appearances: It can render one invisible or as bright as the sun, and has been shown to have a high capacity for detail, able to replicate Lopa’s body perfectly.
Personality #
Kau is just as clever as Ka, but seems to be more considerate & kind (as compared to Ka’s first interactions with other Poseans, where she was rather selfish and rude). She appears to not suffer from the same nightmares that Ka does, as the imagery of moving a cube seems to mean nothing to her.
History #
Kau’s first appearance is in chp3p18, where she reveals herself from cover to Ka and Moi. According to her she has only seen a handful of days since leaving her cave. where she received education and guidance via an automated system. The rest of her appearances can be found here.
Relationships #
Kau has no relationships as she has been completely isolated prior to meeting Ka and Moi.
